We met at a church dance in high school when Katie was only 14 and Craig was 16. It was friendship at first sight! Craig was homeschooled growing up, but after we met, he decided to join Katie at her high school his junior year. We had a lot of fun just hanging out and being friends, while also going on dates and going to prom together.

I want to tell you about my wife, Katie. She is fun and caring and is always developing her talents. Whether it is playing board games with family or finishing an embroidery project, the last thing Katie wants to do is sit still and do nothing! Katie is also a bit of a daredevil. She is happiest when she is in the air!

Katie teaches first grade at an elementary school and loves each and every one of them as if they were her own. She is excited to help our future kids as they go through the life of education.

Craig is one of the kindest people you will ever know! When we were in high school together, I was completely oblivious to his affection. I just thought he was a great friend who liked to carry my backpack, walk me to class, and quiz me for Spanish. (Like I said, I was oblivious).

Craig constantly looks for ways to serve me and others. He finds little ways to make me smile all the time. One of my favorite qualities in Craig is how selfless he is. He gets out of his comfort zone all the time for me. He is scared of heights, but he went to the top of the Eiffel Tower for me! We...

We have a wide variety of hobbies and interests that make each season of the year fun and exciting!

Spring: During the springtime, we love to go look at the flowers. There are many places in the Heber Valley area where flowers naturally bloom and we love to go take pictures together. One tradition we have is to go to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. We also celebrate Star Wars Day each year by watching a Star Wars movie. One of our earliest dates was celebrating May the 4th by watching a movie and enjoying homage Princess Leia cupcakes.

We have some of the sweetest animals!

Beauty and Blaze are the funniest, most talkative horses you will ever meet. They love to run outside in our enclosed corral. They will love you forever if you feed them an apple or watermelon! Katie's dad is a cowboy at heart and buys cowboy boots for all of his grandkids when they turn 1. We love to go riding with him.

Cody is the friendliest dog. He is a four-year-old border collie and has so much energy. We take him on evening walks in the neighborhood, and he tries to get everybody to scratch his belly.

We live in a beautiful seven-bedroom, four-bathroom home. The open floor plan on the main floor works perfectly for our large family gatherings. It seems like there is always someone baking a treat in the kitchen and a few others playing games in the living room. We currently live in this beautiful home with Katie's parents and two younger brothers. The downstairs has the perfect suite, which allows us both to have privacy while also being near Katie's family.

Katie is the middle child of 6 children. Her oldest sister Annie is married to Craig's best friend, Andrew. Katie is incredibly close in distance and relationship to her wild family. They all live within 30 minutes of each other! Her youngest brothers still live at home, and it is so fun to see them play legos or do science projects with Craig. It is a blessing to live with Katie's family.
